Tyne O’Connell is the Queen Bee incarnate!” The Daily Telegraph

“Draped in pink and sipping saki in her fashionable London Warehouse, the impossibly glamourous O’Connell!” Elle UK

Tyne O’Connell inhabits the worlds she writes about: exotic, unconventional, off-piste in every way.

Working with artists and artisans like a latter day Medici, Tyne designs her own range of artwork, clothes, jewelry and crocodile accessories under her label Apis Regina; a range which is exclusive to her and which no one else can purchase.

all things hen-ish

Send in your hen-ish additions here and help us build a story of Hen Greatness worthy of Nancy Mitford. I’ve started the tale, where will you take it?

A girl walked into a tea shop. Holding an empty Louis Vuitton hen carrier aloft, she asked the assembled crowd of tea-sippers if anyone had seen her hen Daphne?

The women in rose printed tea frocks stared silently into their cups of tea, as if absorbed by the colour of their beverage.

The girl shook the LVT hen carrier in the hope of grabbing their attention. 'Daphne's her name? A talkative hen,' the girl continued. 'About so high? Tan coloured? A good little layer?'

She looked about the silent room. The women took silent sips and piled clotted cream onto scones.

The girl knew they knew that she knew they knew something. Emboldened by their farrago the girl began to roam about the room shaking her LVT carrier and cluck.

At this point a burley woman, suspected manageress of the tea-shop bustled over and asked the girl to leave.

'Without Daphne?'
